Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program

How many of these people carry trauma? All.
Trauma is often hidden by the owner. What we see are the symptoms.
TRAUMA INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
Trauma is an event considered severe by the recipient which interferes regularly with their quality of life. Trauma may be an abandonment, observed as depression, anxiety, even shame or guilt. Trauma may be associated with Post Traumatic Stress, severe anxiety, even advanced adjustment disorder. It may have been established in childhood or last week. Trauma may be based on a belief, a personal experience, or perhaps a vicarious experience. There is sexual trauma, assault trauma, physical or emotional trauma, combat stress, abuse, and so much more.. Many times, a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder is originally based in childhood trauma and eventually evolves into a “trauma response”.
Our Trauma IOP is designed to help with these and more. Trauma is an intensely personal issue; therefore, no two treatment plans at our TIOP are the same. Trauma demands respect and closure for the individual. That is what we offer to our clients.
We also offer Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Programming

It is common for someone who has survived trauma to have learned negative coping skills to compensate. This often evolves to a Personality Disorder such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) amongst others. As Personality Disorders are learned, they may be unlearned. Dealing with the trauma base is the first step.
Another negative coping skill that may accompany trauma and mental health is addiction. Our SUDS IOP is very adept at addressing the dual diagnosis. In our IOPs, it is possible to attend Trauma/Mental health and SUDS IOPs systematically, to address both.
