Lisa has worked in a variety of environments: schools, juvenile justice systems, and private practices.
She enjoys working with individuals and couples to help resolve issues, enhance communication skills, look at problems or blockages from a different perspective and move forward and thrive. She counsels children from the age of 7 and up. Common issues are bullying, transitions, sexual abuse, and family blending.
Lisa practices under the theories of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. She works with the belief that clients can use their strengths to help them resolve many of life’s problems and transitions. “I believe that both can be useful in seeing quick results to most of life’s problems.”
