Our Licensed Resident/Intern Clinic began five years ago. Initially it was a pilot program designed to assist people not on insurance and unable to pay for services elsewhere. These interns have a temporary license from the state of Texas, and have all passed the state and national exams for licensure. In order to be a fully licensed therapist, the intern must document 3000 hours of service under a state approved supervisor.
The Intern Clinic is now available to anyone needing its services. We welcome everyone in our communities with an open door… it is our collective belief that each person is valuable, not their insurance. If you call 254-519-1144, our friendly staff will book you with an outstanding intern.
