“The IOP programming at Counseling Solutions and its operational format is solid, evidence-based, and has had incredible client results. The individualized and program consistency in Counseling Solutions’ IOPs have had impressive results.” –CARF Auditor

Are these programs intense enough to help me get better? What if I am in the military?
We offer individualized treatment plans which are adjusted each Monday in the Treatment Team, based on the client’s challenges, conflicts, behaviors, thoughts, goal redirections, and more from the previous week. We have numerous Veterans working at our center in key positions, such as therapists, counselors, directors, staff; our owner’s father was a Veteran as well. This is important because it changes the culture of our IOPs; we recognize that mission first is necessary. Our commitment to the Soldier and the family support role is personal. Our dedication to our community is evident through our diligence and ongoing commitment to excellence.

Counseling Solutions is CARF Accredited, National
“CARF serves as a measure of an institution’s academic programs, faculty qualifications, student support services, and infrastructure. By maintaining accountability and transparency, accreditation upholds standards of excellence and promotes continuous improvement.”
SUMMARY
Our trauma and mental health programs are carefully designed to address and decrease the intensity, triggers, and symptomology of accompanying comorbidities. We immediately address lowering anxiety and depression levels through cognitive behavioral therapy, resiliency, somatic yoga and movement. Dialectical Behavioral Skills Group assists with learning new coping skills, how to utilize them, and how to “rewire” the brain to stabilize mood/emotions, neuropsychology.
Equine Assisted Therapy has enhanced communication and identifying emotions. Processing those emotions and analyzing each and learning about each has been integrated through Expressive Art and varied psychotherapies. Psychoanalysis and psychoeducation are intensive and are used to translate these situations and emotions into feelings and learning how to interpret each in understanding the narrative and how to change the narrative.
We also offer trauma informed yoga, aromatherapy, neuropsychology based-treatment, biofeedback, and sound therapy. Individual and family/relationship therapies are also offered based on the client’s needs. Our IOPs offer nature walks and even basketball that we incorporate in therapy (hemisphericity research with communication generation relates to this). Any change made to individual treatment plan is discussed with the client in addition to the reason behind it. With so many options available for our clients, we are successful in specifications regarding treatment. This makes for increased client success.

Trauma and Mental Health IOPs occur Monday through Wednesday, weekly. We have Men’s IOP and Female IOP: Mondays, 8-11(female), and 8-12:30 (male).

Additional individual/family/couples therapies may occur Thursday/Friday
Trauma IOP has several sub-focus areas that may be substituted within the individual’s schedule. These include:
Grief
Military sexual trauma
Abuse
Combat stress
PROCESS
Trauma IOP average duration is 6 weeks. This IOP is intense and powerful. Our groups are 5 or less participants. If the client attends completely to this program schedule, the improvement rate after 6 weeks has been over 90 percent. We acknowledge that in an exceptional situation, an extension of two weeks may be requested. Due to our AFTERCARE program, the extensions are rare; the client’s treatment team also prepares the AFTERCARE Programming which encourages consistency and stabilization of improvement. This programming continues where the final assessments show need or weakness remaining (such as familial support or communication).
Most of our clients are able to integrate a part-time return to duties back in their schedules within the third week of treatment if stabilized. However, it is crucial that the client stabilizes prior to returning to work.
Trauma IOP depends heavily on assessments which are valid and reliable. We administer two complete batteries to each client, utilizing the pretest/post test method of data collection to measure improvements during the 6 week period. Dispersed between these are individual assessments measuring the fluctuation of identified comorbidities recorded during the first treatment team.
A general IOP schedule will resemble:
