When people experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to fall apart. She is very passionate about helping those individuals through those difficult times. Cassie has experience working with children and adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns using various modalities and skills to provide individual and group counseling. She helps clients identify healthy coping skills, perceptions of themselves and strengthen their support system so they can identify a new sense of normal.
Cassie has extensive knowledge of military structure and lifestyle as a veteran of the United States Army and current Department of Defense employee with the Air National Guard providing crisis intervention to survivors of interpersonal violence. She has previously held positions with the Army and United States Marine Corps serving the same population. She continues to education herself by attending national and local conferences/trainings, keeping up with current therapy research, and seeking consultation.
Cassie has a 10-year-old daughter and furbabies. Ask her how much she loves her pitties ☺ She enjoys going to the beach, hiking, bikram yoga, spending quality time with her daughter and FaceTiming her nephew who lives in SC.
